On most building sites around Australia, it is a requirement under workplace health and safety laws for every visitor to the site to have been correctly inducted onto the site.

This important step helps to ensure the safety of contractors, employed staff, supply delivery agents and visitors to the site.

As an Owner Builder in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, you are required to complete a course of instruction.

These courses are generally accredited, and can only be provided by approved training organisations.

In Queensland, the unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry (commonly referred to as the White Card) must be provided by a Registered Training Organisation which has the course under its Scope of Registration.

Owner Building Solutions Australia Pty Ltd offers this course in Queensland through classroom instruction sessions, by correspondence or on line over the internet.

In other states, we will refer our students to specialist training centres which provide the equivalent courseware.
